Happy Easter! Continue the Celebration.

Jesus is Risen!

Continue to live out the Resurrection of Christ.  Many times after special feasts such as Christmas and Easter, we forget that the celebration continues.  Currently, we are in the Easter Season.  For several weeks, we can rejoice in Easter and beyond.  As St. John Paul II had stated, we are “Easter people”.  We can live out the Resurrection of Jesus every day.

How Can I Live Out the Resurrection of Christ?

A first step is to recognize Christ in your daily life and the present moment.  Take a step back and say a prayer wherever you are and be grateful.  Know that he died and rose for you.  He is with you.  Share the joy in your heart with someone close by.  God gives us daily opportunities to give love to others.  Be thankful to him for those opportunities  Sometimes we get so stuck in our “to do list” that we miss Jesus right there with us in the present moment.  We don’t have to “figure it all out”.  He will guide us.  This is the love of God.  This is Easter.

Be happy in Christ and share the joy.  He is Risen.  Let someone else know that your smile is a reflection of the Resurrection.  Be blessed.
