The St. Raymond Nonnatus Foundation
The St. Raymond Nonnatus Foundation for Freedom, Family, and Faith is very pleased to have Colleen Brigid Fitzpatrick, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, as part of our team. Colleen is a valued member of our Board of Directors for the foundation. Colleen has a wonderful story to tell of her Catholic faith and devotion to the Church. She helps many individuals and families find healing through her practice as a licensed therapist. Here is Colleen’s own story of faith and healing.
A Story of Perseverance and Faith in Colleen’s Words:
“My journey of faith began as a child as I attended Catholic grade school, high school and college. I was taught at a young age how to incorporate specific principals into my life. When attending Immaculata College, I was fortunate enough to be trained by Sister Trinita Marie on how to combine my faith and love of creating art.
In 2003, my faith was tested when I got divorced. I am the only person in my family to ever be divorced. I was disappointed and wondered why the Lord had not been able to guide me to a more secure place.
In 2006, I traveled to Fatima and Lourdes on a pilgrimage. Words cannot describe what special places they are to visit. Once again my faith took a turn, but from a place of gratitude.
Since those visits, I made a commitment to my faith and how to utilize it to help others that are struggling in various areas. I am a licensed, clinical psychotherapist who counsels many individuals, couples and families. My interest in SRNF is to assist in helping and strengthening my clients so they can better manage their challenges. Among my interests are helping clients come to terms with family issues, separation and divorce, and utilize their faith to help them keep the faith.”
Pray for Our Foundation
In reading Colleen’s story, you can see that she overcame many obstacles and has used the challenges to make her faith stronger. As a member of our team, please pray for our foundation as we are continuing a journey to reach people who are going through trials in their families and of their faith. The foundation offers support through retreats, support groups, prayer and individual “accompaniment”.
If you or someone you know would need the outreach of the St. Raymond Nonnatus Foundation for Freedom, Family, and Faith please reach out to us on our website at www.nonnatus.org. We are here for you. Just as Colleen overcame many odds, we at the foundation are here to support you and your loved ones in faith and trust in God through the intercession of Our Lady of Mercy. As Mercedarians, the religious order of the foundation, we pray to Our Lady and to Our Lord for you and your needs. God bless!
